Do these rooms have to be booked by phone only?

I tried to change our room (night May 31st to June 1st) from the standard rate of 364 $ to the groupe rate and after a 17 minute call (!) he said "noting available" and I should contact someone to be put on a waiting list.
What a phone call ... I have a room and just wanted to chage to the goupe rate.  :(

These rooms should not have to be booked by phone only.  There is a link on the webpage where you can and should book through.
