I just wanted to push this out because it was a late addition and we have plenty of room in this course. I know we have waiting lists for armorer classes so this may be a good substitution if you didn't get into an armorer class. There are also no restrictions to the international attendees.
Handgun Function and Repair

Time: Friday June 3 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Melrose room
This one day seminar will focus in the design, function, and general repairs for revolvers and semi-auto handguns. The revolver presentation will focus on common revolver types, (Smith & Wesson, Ruger, and Colt) with discussion of others as time and interest may allow. Semi-auto handguns including inexpensive striker fired (Raven/Jennings), single action (1911 style), double action (Beretta 92), and Safe Action (Glock types) will be presented to illustrate the various firing and operating systems. These handguns are chosen as representative of the various types and also as they will likely be familiar to many of the participants, giving a common point of reference to help visualize some of the malfunctions and repairs.- 8:00 - 8:30 Introductions and General Orientation to Class
- 8:30 - 9:45 Basic revolver design and function
- 9:45 - 10:00 Break
- 10:00 - Noon Revolver malfunctions and repairs
- 1:00 - 2:30 Basic semi-auto handgun design and function
- 2:30 - 2:45 Break
- 2:45 - 4:30 Semi-auto handgun malfunction and repairs
- 4:30 - 5:00 Question and answers/general discussion
