Headstamp identification help please
«

I have 2 shells which I need help identifying the manufacturer. The first is a 37mm Hotchkiss shell that has a square with HBH (?) located in the center. The second is a 50 x 176 which I believe is from a German manufacturer. This headstamp is dated 1892 and is stamped AVVS or AWS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Hello,
I believe that first headstamp belong to Hotchkiss et Cie of Saint Denis, France. Mark BHB inside diamond shape represent Benjamin Berkeley Hotchkiss. The other belong to Artillerie Werkstatt Spandau (AWS), Germany.
Best regards
