Title: WPI 3D-microscopy, surface measurement conference announcement

Hello all.  I'd like to announce that on October 24-26, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI, Worcester Mass.) and Dr. Chris Brown of the Mechanical Engineering Program will be hosting the 1st Surface Metrology Seminar for the Americas 2011.

The conference is aimed at forensic practitioners, industry professionals and academics interested in applications of 3D microscopy and measurement of surfaces. I will be giving one of the tutorials on some of the work we've been doing at John Jay concerning striated toolmarks.  Below are a few webpages with more info:
