A buddy of mine took a tour of the Silencerco shop and was lucky enough to snag a cartridge for me. Here is a link to their ammunition line. From the link it states they are using 220gr. Sierra MatchKing bullets.

If I ever get a chance to tour the place myself I will be asking them more about the ammunition and the new threaded barrels they are starting to manufacture as well.

The 300 BLK is a new caliber to me. Sheesh, it seems that there is a new caliber introduced every month.

Thanks for the post Justin.
Something that may come across our desk in casework that relates to this cartridge.
"Extreme care should be taken with 300 BLK ammo, as with certain bullet profiles, the round may chamber in a standard .223 or 5.56 AR platform with disastrous results and possible injuries."

I will be attending SHOT in a couple of weeks and I plan on speaking with SilencerCo and Advanced Armament Corp. regarding the rifling profiles for their threaded replacement barrels.
Another interesting tidbit about 300BLK, I've heard that it's possible to use projectiles meant for the .308 WIN cartridge for handloading 300BLK.
I've been a fan of 300BLK since it was introduced and I'm definitely going to build at least one gun chambered for that cartridge.
