Title: Shotgun Identification help
Post by: aagosto on January 22, 2015, 02:56:40 PM
Hi everyone
I have a shotgun which is mutilated and through its physical configuration, I wonder if anyone can recognize its manufacturing and/or brand, the barrel is cut from the original size and is caliber 12 gauge GA, has only printed on the top of the barrel SP inside a circle. thanks again in advance. ::---

Based on the checkering patterns, my guess is a Sears / Ted Williams model 200 (produced by Winchester - equivalent to their model 1200).

Here are a couple of auction links.

The SP inside an oval is the company proof mark for Savage.
