Ron Smith & Associates, Inc. is currently under contract with the Department of Forensic Sciences, Consolidated Forensic Laboratory in Washington, DC to provide subject matter expertise in Firearms Evidence Examination between now and the end of the 2016 fiscal year, September 30, 2016, with option years possible.
We are in immediate need of qualified firearms examiners to conduct casework for the Department of Forensic Sciences. All work is to be provided at the DC Laboratory at 401 E Street SW and the work hours are confined to Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is expected that expert witness testimony may be required during or after the completion of the contract.
Ron Smith & Associates is prepared to offer an hourly wage of $70.00 per actual hour of onsite work, up to an average of 40 hours per week.
