Title: First Time Attendee Scholarships Still Available!
Post by: Calissa Carper on March 09, 2018, 08:43:20 AM
We still have 2 spots open for first time attendees that would like to attend the 2018 Charleston conference. If you know of any persons fitting the below criteria please let them know of this great opportunity!

In remembrance of Tom Deeb, the owner of Hi-Point Firearms, Mike Strassel, will continue to cover the costs of meeting registration fees for 5 first-time attendees to the AFTE Training Seminar.  In order to take advantage of this offer, you must be a first time attendee and you must fall into any one of the following three categories:
- You are an AFTE member in good standing, or
- The membership secretary must be in receipt of your application, or
- You are someone working in the field of Firearm Identification who would like to know more about our association.
- Your supervisor or co-worker (preferably an AFTE member) must write a letter on your behalf stating that you will be attending the meeting and that your employer will not pay 100% of the cost. The letter should also state what, if anything, your agency will pay for.

Please be aware that this donation only covers Registration Fees.  Attendees selected are still responsible for food, travel, and lodging and any workshops that they might like to attend.

If you would like to be considered and meet the above criteria please send your letters to:
reg.afte2018@gmail.com

You will be notified, via email, if your registration fees are paid.

The cut-off date for submitting your letter for consideration for the First-Time Attendee registration waiver is April 13, 2018!  Your letter must be received by to this date to be considered.
