There are open positions within the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Forensic Science Laboratories for a Firearms and Toolmark Examiner, GS-1397-12.
These positions are located within the Office of Science and Technology, Laboratory Services, in Beltsville, MD, Walnut Creek, CA and/or Atlanta, GA.
The Firearms and Toolmark Examiner serves as an analyst in the examination of firearm and toolmark evidence from criminal investigations of firearm violations, bombings, and arsons.
