I have a question about the T-shirts. Are they made 100% cotton, "soft" cotton (really thin), polyester blend or 100% polyester (SportTech type)?

Hello All,

Just wanted to remind you that tomorrow, March 27th, is the last day to order additional challenge coins.

Looking for a memento to bring home to your coworkers, friends, and/or family? We think this challenge coin may fit the bill ;) It's very Alaskan and we think it's pretty darn cool!

Make sure to submit your order by tomorrow for any extra coins!

Training Seminars / AFTE 2024 Poster Submission Form & Deadline/ BYOS
« Last post by Deion Christophe on March 25, 2024, 02:36:36 PM »
Good Afternoon!
just wanted to give some updates on the AFTE Anchorage Poster Submission process.

The link below will take you to the Poster Submission form/BYOS info on the event website. The deadline has been EXTENDED   past the April 1st listing for posters. We are asking for a PDF or JPEG version of your poster to be emailed to PostersAFTE2024@gmail.com when completed.  We would like to archive the poster information should it not get published later in the AFTE Journal or another Journal of your choosing.

Poster presentations are a great opportunity for members and students to present if all technical session spots are filled. It is also a perfect setting if you would prefer to present to just a few people at a time.

https://na.eventscloud.com/website/62626/posters/

There is NO DEADLINE for BYOS, however if you know your topic please send your information to the email address OpenMIKEnightAFTE2024@gmail.com. Otherwise, feel free to find "Mike" or myself at the event and we will get you on the list of presenters.

As always, please reach out if you have any questions regarding the process.

Looking forward to those submissions!

Hi Andy
I went to my local gun shop today with my Ruger 57 5.7 x 28 - they have a Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 x 28 in stock.  I tried the S& W M&P magazine in the Ruger - it does fit into the magazine well, however it does not "lock" into place since it is slightly longer than the Ruger magazine.  The Ruger magazine however does not fit at all into the S&W M&P magazine well since it is too big.  See photos below - apologies for the bad photo quality - I took them with my iPhone.
I hope this help.
Best Regards
Paul

Thanks Paul, I really appreciate the help. Not too many 5.7's down here in Oz!

Hi Andy
I will call my local dealer and ask if they have a Smith & Wesson M&P in 5.7 in stock - if so I can take mine there to see if the magazines are interchangeable.
Best Regards
Paul

Thanks Paul,
Yes they are looking if the 22 round magazine for the M&P will work in the Ruger.
