FBI GSR class New England 2009
« on: May 01, 2009, 10:14:55 PM »
Last week (April 27 thru May 1 2009) Megan Maruso, a trainee at the Rhode Island state crime lab hosted the FBI gun shot residue school at the Smith and Wesson Academy in Springfield Mass.

The class was attended by 20 students from the New England area (and New Jersey  >:D). The instructors were John Webb, Brandon Giroux and George Beddish. The instructors were very knowledgeable and patient working with a class of varying levels of experience.   The class was a huge success and we would all like to thank the host committee and the instructors for doing this.

Special thanks to Ron Borgio of Smith & Wesson for making the Smith & Wesson Academy available for this course. He has been a huge supporter of AFTE.

Great job as always Jerry photographically documenting an event and promptly posting the photos for all to see.  Thanks.

p.s.  The class was fantastic.  Had a great time and learned a lot.
