Starting tomorrow I will be out of the Lab for 2 ½ weeks, but I wanted to get this notice posted prior to my departure.  On Friday, November 20, 2015, the city of Fort Worth will announce an immediate opening for a Forensic Scientist position in the Firearm & Toolmark Unit.  The vacancy (Job Opening ID 2438) will be posted tomorrow in the jobs tab of the City of Fort Worth’s website:  http://fortworthtexas.gov/

I will be happy to answer any questions regarding this posting; however, I will not be available to respond to any queries until after December 7, 2015.

The Fort Worth Police Crime Laboratory moved into its current location in the summer of 2010 and is accredited through the Texas Department of Public Safety and through the ASCLD/LAB ISO 17025 accreditation standard.
