Please plan to join us in November! Keep Nov. 1 & 2 in your calendar for attendance at the 2018 AFTE Eastern Regional in Virginia! Make note of the date and email us at afte@fbi.gov for any details or questions.

Attached is an Eastern Regional flyer/agenda that many of you are requesting for use as travel justification from your agencies. We'll also be emailing this out to those have already expressed an interest in attending.

* Hear the presentation by Evofinder on the latest statistical updates to the Automated Ballistic Identification System.
* Learn about the high-quality systems being developed by Laboratory Imaging s.r.o and view the operations of the BalScan and ToolScan sytems.
* Receive critical information and plan one-on-one meetings with vendors (I.Miller/Leica, Accu-Scope, Cadre Forensics, Evofinder/Leeds Forensic Systems and Laboratory Imaging s.r.o/BalScan and ToolScan systems) onsite.
* Gather methods and resources being utilized by other laboratories for system validation and evidence workflow.
* Attend the AFTE Eastern Regional meeting and participate in the ongoing discussions surrounding the cutting edge technology.Registration is still open through the end of the week so please email afte@fbi.gov for registration details. Thank you.
