Build and Manage a Firearms Lab - Coming Soon
« on: November 13, 2019, 12:09:29 PM »
Working within the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit ? British Columbia (CFSEU-BC), the Organized Crime Agency of BC (OCABC) will soon be recruiting a Firearms Lab Manager who will be responsible for the overall creation and operation of the Laboratory branch of the Crime Guns Intelligence Group (CGIG). The CGIG consists of a multi-disciplinary team of Analysts, Intelligence Officers and Investigators.

The primary purpose of the new Laboratory is to provide timely investigative intelligence to the criminal justice community in British Columbia through scientific forensic analysis of firearms and shooting evidence using progressive methods and workflows.

The location of the lab will be in the Greater Vancouver area of Super Natural British Columbia, surrounded by mountains and the Pacific Ocean. This is a rare opportunity to not only manage, but to create from the ground up, a proactive intelligence-focused analytical laboratory with a high-potential for growth, becoming only the third provincial forensic lab service in the country.

This is a heads-up that the job will be posting soon. I will repost with a link once it?s out.

If you are interested and have any questions, please contact me directly at dbarr@bulletproofforensics.ca or ph: (587)227-4339.

Sincerely,
Darryl
