Hi, there!

I work in a forensic lab in portugal and i'm witting in order to see if i can have some help from you. we've received for analisys a kind of a plastic wad, 12 gauge, that we've never seen before in here and we'd like to know if anyone as any knowledge what kind of projectille it uses (some sort of slug,i wonder...), and the manufacture and origin of it. We'd really appreciate any help given. i attached one picture of it

Nuno,

I guess I may be WAY late with this info, but if so, no harm done. It does look a lot like a wad to a 12 GA slug round. It is made in Spain under the the brand name of Saga, the slug type is called Bala Maciza or Bala Expansiva.
Check out this (spanish) web site: < http://www.fullaventura.com.ar/caza/nota110119.aspmanufaturer. >

Good luck,
