AT&T Wireless bill Trojan horse
« on: May 14, 2012, 04:45:28 PM »
Usually I can smell a spam/virus a mile away but one caught me off guard today.

I received an email from "AT&T Customer Care" telling my that my wireless bill was available.  The total was over $1600.  That caught my attention.

I clicked on the link to allow me to "log in" to "my account".

Fortunately my copy of Avast antivirus caught the Trojan horse virus before it could infect my computer.

Moral of the Story:  Don't follow links in emails.  AND someone had ought to shoot the scum that sends these things out.
