AFTE 2024 Salmon Fishing

If anyone is around Saturday following the conference (June 1), and would like to go King Salmon fishing on the Knik River just north of Anchorage, hit me up for details. The guide supplies all the gear and I'll have a car to get us there and to bring the fish back.

Oh, if I had seen this before I booked a halibut trip. Everyone I talked to said the salmon don't run until late June and I would have much better luck with halibut. I really wanted salmon.

Stacey, I PM'd you.
According to the guide I spoke with, King (Chinook) Salmon start running mid May up there and range between 15-65lbs. Will be using light tackle, so should be fun!
