Here is a draft agenda and objectives that I was sent a while back:

QuoteAs a reminder, this workshop is designed for researchers working in academia, government and the private sector and practicing firearm and toolmark examiners. Our objectives for the event are as follows:

- Provide a venue for practitioners and researchers to interact and exchange ideas
-Present an update on research programs and outcomes
-Give an overview of the various data collection efforts underway in the US and elsewhere
- Discuss gaps in the research and data and plan on approaches to fill those gaps
- Begin the discussion of what needs to happen before crime labs can begin to pilot some of the new technologies
