I am posting this information for Charles Myers, 2nd President of AFTE (1970-71). Mr. Myers has a firearm examiner mini-lab for sale.
No reasonable offer will be refused.
It is preferred to sell the entire mini-lab; however, offers for portions thereof will be given serious consideration. The items included in the mini-lab are listed below.
Spencer Lens (AO) comparison microscope (circa 1930s) including all accessories, and 3 sets of objective lenses (11x-50x) - very good condition
Wolfe stereo-microscope (10x-40x) - very good condition
Bausch & Lomb "traveling microscope" with case and box - very good condition
Selsi (Japanese) "pocket microscope" with case and box - very good condition
Stereo-opticon viewer (very old) - very good condition
Measuring micrometer (dial) with stage and gear - very good condition
Pro-Tach chronograph with accessories - very good condition
Lab chemical/micro beam balance encased in glass - very good condition
Gauges and scales including NRA trigger pull weights

Portable vertical water tank - 3/16" stainless steel, round, 4.5' x 14" diameter on steel deck
Library that includes ~100 hard cover and ~50 soft cover books on science, math, logic, forensic science, firearm identification, firearm ammunition, etc.
AFTE Journals - 1969 to present
Journal of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) - 1961 to present (all but 4-5 issues)
Scientific Sleuthing (nearly all)

I posted this information for Mr. Charles Meyers. I know that Mr. Meyers sold the library; however, I don't know if he sold the other items.

The microscope is gone.... Trust me.
I have tried to contact Mr. Meyers several times lately to no avail. I seem to remember him mentioning that part of the reason he was selling the items was so he wouldn't have to move them. From this I can only assume that I no longer have his current contact information.
