The AFTE Board of Directors were in San Francisco on December 2nd for our mid-year meeting. The host hotel is beautiful, facilities are world class and the city amazing.

The meeting room is directly across from the vendor area. The guest rooms were very nice with 5 elevators to get us up and down the 18 story facility.

Just to the left of the front door is a cable car stop ($5.00), Muni-bus stop and BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) stop ($5.35 Oakland Airport to Hotel). Getting to and from either airport is a snap. Behind the hotel you can catch the trolley ($1.50)to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. Also just 1 1/2 block away was a full service Safeway Super Market at 145 Jackson Street. Families can enjoy and afford.

The steak, seafood and other restaurants are everywhere. We didn't have a bad meal.

The host committee has done a great job planning for our annual training seminar. Don't miss it!!!!
