Seeking 2025 AFTE Tech Session Moderators
« on: January 06, 2025, 12:10:22 PM »

Want to gain more public speaking experience but not ready to give a technical talk? Try being a moderator for the 2025 AFTE Seminar. Each year, the technical session committee recruits 5 moderators to help facilitate the technical sessions. Your duties include:

1) Introducing the speaker, reading a short bio and the title of their talk.
2) Help keep track of allotted time slots and usher the speaker on and off the stage.
3) Present the speakers with their gifts.

You will receive pre-written cards with each speaker and talk's information to read on stage. Each moderator will be responsible for a 4 hour block of time (AM/PM). Professional attire is required. If this is something you'd be interested in, please complete this form. Priority will be given to early career examiners.
