Has anyone ever used commercially produced Lead-Check kits as a presumptive field test for bullet defects? It's a sodium-rhodizanate test. The company sent me some samples to evaluate, but I'd like the benefit of anyone's experience.

Worked a scene in conjunction with a couple of examiners from the FBI lab and they were big on using it.  You might contact the lab there and get their opinions.
