ASTRA A60 reaction to Ferroprint/Ferrotrace
« on: June 16, 2009, 02:07:11 PM »
Shalom,

I have a case involving an Astra A60 Semi automatic pistol in 9 mm short (9X17 mm, 380ACP) caliber.
One of the questions I need to answer is if a person holding this weapon will give positive reaction to Ferroprint (or Ferrotrace) spray on his hand.
This is a very old case and the original pistol is gone. From pictures of it, taken at the crime scene, it looks as if it is made from Nirosta (Non rustd steel).
I tried to get a similar one for a test, but they are not popular in Israel.
If any one have expirience with testing this gun for Ferroprint reaction, I will be most gratefull for the results.
Thank you,
Lior
