This is a 9mm casing with the LEW '06 head stamp. It was manufactured by CCI and distributed in two forms. As the M939 tracer brass case, and residual cases from the contract were sold as Independence brand ammo. Specimen shown is a reload as the original had the  82LP plated cup primers.
