Updated News on Ct. Firearm and Toolmark Examiner(s) position
« on: August 22, 2012, 08:46:25 AM »
Good Morning,

We have an update to our July anticipated openings.

The State of Connecticut DESPP, Division of Scientific Services is now taking applications for one or more positions in the Firearm and Toolmark Section of the Forensic Science Laboratory with the title of Forensic Science Examiner 1.  The closing date for the first pull down of qualified applicants is September 17, 2012.

The following link is for the description of the position and the exam notification.

The second link is for the information provided by our Human Resources Division explaining the process as well as the application with can be accessed on line.

The application for the FSE 1 position is now a rolling application process with pull down lists scheduled for several dates until December of 2013.

Should you have any questions about the application process I would suggest contacting the DESPP Human Resources Division directly.

Thanks in advance for applying.
