As an addendum to Michael's post:

We are still expecting permission to post an official job announcement any day now.  Something to consider is that we do not have state income tax in Texas, which is like a pay raise!!!  We have a new lab (two years old), three fairly new comparison scopes Leica FSC (five years old), Leeds LCF1000 (three years old), and Leeds LCF1600 (two months old); and an older Leica K2700 (fourteen years old) that we have as an extra (or in case we were to get a fourth examiner).  We have an indoor range with a new shooting tank, and TWO GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH!!!!

Also, Fort Worth is one of the fastest growing cities in north Texas.  We have lots to do in the area including professional football (Dallas Cowboys, Oklahoma Sooners), professional basketball (Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma Sooners), professional baseball (Texas Rangers, Oklahoma Sooners), and professional hockey (Dallas Stars).
