The 2013 Eastern Regional AFTE Conference - Fall Training Seminar hosted by: FBI Laboratory, Firearms/Toolmarks Unit.

Thursday, October 17th, 2013
8:00am – 4:30pm at the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA
Thursday will be classroom instruction with presentations and papers that include: research, case studies, and issues relating to the field of firearms and toolmark identification.

Friday, October 18th, 2013
8:00am – 1:00pm at the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA
Friday will be demonstrations by several FBI and other government entities that highlight firearms training, research, and instruction on foreign and non-standard weapon systems.

A request for attendance must be completed by October 1, 2013. This request should include the attendee’s full first/last name, and social security number. This information is required in order to be admitted on the FBI Academy grounds.

Those planning to stay for both days should find numerous lodging and restaurant choices in the Stafford/Dumfries area.
