See prior posting for box top.  Coated steel casing per Eastern Bloc specs, copper jacketed ball projectile.  In this example, there is a lack of colored casing sealant around the neck and the primer opening.  Note the "LU" in the roughly 3 o'clock position, which gives away Lugansk Cartridge Works in the Ukraine as the source.  Other examples are seen with a distinctive green sealant, which is not known by me to have been used before.  There are some claims that Red Army Standard is produced in Romania in addition to the Ukraine, I am currently investigating this claim and possible source.  If it truly is Romanian, that would basically narrow it down to CUGIR.
