Summary
The candidate selected will support NIST studies of the scientific foundations of forensic practices in the Special Programs Office for Laboratory Programs.

Responsibilities
The incumbent will support the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) studies of the scientific foundations of forensic practices. The incumbent coordinates literature reviews of selected forensic science research, organizes workshops on forensic science practices, participates in technical examinations of forensic science methods, and meets with forensic practitioners to gather understanding of their scientific practices.
