Fort Worth is a great mix of western history and 21st century technology, business, education and entertainment. Fort Worth is home to the Historic Fort Worth Stock Yards, a nationally ranked zoo, world class art museums, a beautiful symphony hall and all the entertainment and dining of a vibrant downtown area. The City is only a short drive away from DFW International Airport and 32 miles from downtown Dallas which also provides additional access to museums, shopping, many cultural events, and big name entertainment and concerts. The DFW metroplex as it is commonly called is also home to Six Flags over Texas, several universities and four professional sports teams – the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars and Texas Rangers.
