Nice headstamp Chris. The capsule shaped marking on the primer is used by CBC of Brazil on ‘small rifle’ primers, indicating the primer was supplied by CBC. Other calibres loaded by Indumil often use CBC primers, using a variety of markings. Other manufacturers globally are known to use CBC primers on their cartridges, for example see the ‘oval’ marking on an AD case in the Headstamp Guide in the primer markings section.

Seems more to be sourced from
Adcom Manufacturing Ltd. (United Arab Emirates)based on other references.  https://afte.org/resources/headstamp-guideDoes CBC have a full "O".  If so please to add to the list.

Thanks,Chris

CBC have used ‘O’, ‘0’, ‘C’, and a variety of combinations of single and double ’V’s on their primers. The AD Com (UAE) cartridge I mentioned in the Headstamp Guide should be loaded with a CBC primer, Pete.

Hi Chris, do you mind if I post your images above on the IAA Forum (credited of course)? I attempted to describe the headstamp on the forum to ID the meaning of AYT & I’ve had a request for an image of it from a forum member. Thanks, Pete.

Please share.  We (AFTE members) appreciate IAA and our collective sharing of information.  FWIW, I bought it at Aim Surplus about 2 months ago and they may still have it.
