New Forensic Science Program at Western Carolina University
« on: August 23, 2006, 01:17:16 PM »
We've put together a new forensic science program at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.  It will have your standard biology and chemistry concentrations, but since I'm a ballistics guy, we have as good or better opportunities on the firearms side than many programs.  I view ballistics as a subject worthy of study in its own right, and we go well beyond toolmark examination.  I've got a complete semester long course developped in ballistics.  We provide students with some unique research opportunities as well.

Our web page is currently under development, and I'll be posting a link when it is available.

Thanks,

Michael Courtney

Is your program accredited by FEPAC?
