I am posting this information for Charles Myers, 2nd President of AFTE (1970-71).  Mr. Myers has a firearm examiner mini-lab for sale.

No reasonable offer will be refused.

It is preferred to sell the entire mini-lab; however, offers for portions thereof will be given serious consideration.  The items included in the mini-lab are listed below.

Wolfe stereo-microscope (10x-40x) - very good condition

Bausch & Lomb "traveling microscope" with case and box - very good condition

Selsi (Japanese) "pocket microscope" with case and box - very good condition

Stereo-opticon viewer (very old) - very good condition

Measuring micrometer (dial) with stage and gear - very good condition

Pro-Tach chronograph with accessories - very good condition

Lab chemical/micro beam balance encased in glass - very good condition

Gauges and scales including NRA trigger pull weights

Gunsmith/lab tools in leather case

Portable vertical water tank - 3/16" stainless steel, round, 4.5' x 14" diameter on steel deck

Library that includes ~100 hard cover and ~50 soft cover books on science, math, logic, forensic science, firearm identification, firearm ammunition, etc.

AFTE Journals - 1969 to present

Journal of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) - 1961 to present (all but 4-5 issues)

Scientific Sleuthing (nearly all)

Mr. Meyers is mailing me a complete listing of the books included in the library, and that information will be posted in about a week.

For more information or for inquiries please contact Charles Meyers at phone number 423-727-4738.

I posted this information for Mr. Charles Meyers.  I know that Mr. Meyers sold the library; however, I don't know if he sold the other items.

I will try to find out if any of the items are still available.

The microscope is gone.... Trust me.

I have tried to contact Mr. Meyers several times lately to no avail.  I seem to remember him mentioning that part of the reason he was selling the items was so he wouldn't have to move them.  From this I can only assume that I no longer have his current contact information.
