Are you a qualified Firearm and Tool Mark Examiner?
This is a rare UK opportunity for an experienced Firearm and Tool Mark Examiner be part of an internationally renowned, well-resourced team designed to provide Police forces and defence teams with a comprehensive firearms and tool marks-related service.
The role means working on fascinating cases and your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
•   Performing a wide range of routine to complex laboratory examinations and scientific analyses on a variety of physical evidence related to Firearms and Tool Marks including:
o   examining firearms and ammunition
o   test firing
o   examining tool mark cases
o   performing associated comparison macroscopy
•   Following strict quality procedures, establishing evidence
•   Writing statements  & providing evidence in court
You will need:
A proven track record as a Firearms and Tool Mark Examiner with years of experience as a qualified Firearms and Tool Marks examiner in an accredited forensic laboratory in the field of firearms and tool marks examination.

 Salary is in the range of £40,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
25 days holiday+ bank holidays,
37.5 hours per week, flexible hours
