The DART Rail is a cheap airport transportation alternative if folks wanting to save a few bucks. $2.50 for a two hour pass. Little less than an hour ride to Akard Station. (4 blocks from Fairmont).

The train comes into the A terminal. So, if you arrive in another terminal, you will need to get bags and take terminal link bus to the A terminal. Ask the driver which stop drops you at the DART Station. Buy ticket and ride to Akard station. Walk about 4 blocks north to Fairmont Hotel or if you are staying at the Adolphus Hotel it is 3 blocks south.
