Looking for Employment
« on: May 13, 2016, 09:52:50 PM »
Sent to me by Dr. Jim hammy for posting.

Dear Jim,

I’ve won a Diversity Visa (the so-called Green Card) and so I’m thinking about relocating to the States. I’m the Head of Physico-technical Department of the National Bureau of Expertises of the Republic of Armenia with over 23 years of experience as Forensic Scientist (Ballistics), a Master’s in Chemistry and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. I’m fluent in Russian and Armenian but I’m just learning English.

Could you point me in the right direction about how to find a job as a ballistics expert? Where should I look for such a position for which knowledge of English wouldn’t be a requirement (ideally) or I would get a “grace period” to learn it? Do you have a vacancy at the International Forensic Science Laboratory & Training Centre and can I apply for it?

My Linkedin profile is at http://www.linkedin.com/in/ashot-gasparyan-7a5b9210b?trk if you’d like to take a look.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,

Ashot Gasparyan
