NIBIN Technician

This is 3 year grant-funded position

Basic qualifications:  Knowledge of firearms and firearm safety, basic computer software, lab safety, chemical preparation and handling.  HS graduation + 2 years of college or vocational training in job-related field. 1-2 yr of job-related experience with firearms or computers.

Basic responsibilities:  Provides known standards of bullets and casings for NIBIN computer database;test fires reference collection and casework weapons. Maintains database and firearm reference collection.
