Pretty sure it's from the company Shell Tech

https://www.shellshocktechnologies.com/products/unloaded-cases/

Two part case where the head is nickle coated aluminum and the body is described as a "nickle alloy stainless" that is magnetic.

The company also says it's re-loadable and sells dies to accomplish this.

Reminds me of the NOVX ammunition.

I recently saw this forum thread listing brands that were using cartridge cases of this type:

https://forum.cartridgecollectors.org/t/checklist-of-companies-using-nas3-9-mm-cases/27280/72

I can't vouch for how current or complete it is.  The info comes piecemeal over several posts, too.

That is a helpful thread on the cartridge collectors page, thanks for sharing!

I have twenty "S3" headstamped rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition in a case I'm currently working. The bullets look a lot like a Liberty Ammunition bullet (nickel plated solid copper hollowpoint), found this on their website https://libertyammo.com/ultra-lights/ . I did weigh one of the cartridges, I got 92.2 grains for the total weight.

I recently purchased a box of Sierra Sports Ammunition from Academy Sports that has the same headstamp and design as your photos. They are loaded with a JHP. I have included a link to the website included on the back of the ammo box.

Thank you all for the information and input. S3 has been updated in the Headstamp Guide.
