DRUG BACKGROUND LEVELS IN FORENSIC LABORATORIES; Webinar
« on: August 05, 2019, 07:09:13 AM »
This topic has become very important since the increased toxicity of fentanyl analogs and other designer drugs coming in and going out of our crime labs.
The results of this research described in this webinar can be used to develop common sense mediation methods.

https://forensiccoe.org/webinar/understanding-the-impact-of-drug-background-levels-in-forensic-laboratories/

Detailed Learning Objectives:

1)     Appreciate the quantity, common locations, trends, and processes that contribute to drug background levels in forensic laboratories.
2)     Gain insight into how to determine the impact of drug background on data integrity and data quality.
3)     Understand the implications of drug background on analyst health, strategies for completing a safer analysis, and how to better clean and monitor background.

Please forward to you lab partners who may be interested.
