10th Anniversary NAS Report Conference
« on: October 17, 2019, 05:44:15 PM »
FYI - I received the following from the IAI.  I thought it might be a web thing, but a trial registration suggests it might be in-person only.

JOIN US FOR THIS ONE DAY CONFERENCE:
American Association for the Advancement of Science
1200 New York Ave, NW, Washington, DC
Tuesday, November 12, 2019
8:00am - 5:15pm

Join the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the Innocence Project and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in collaboration with the National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM), for a one-day conference commemorating the 10th anniversary of the pathbreaking NASEM report "Strengthening Forensic Science in the United States: A Path Forward."

Featured sessions will address developments over the past decade in the forensic sciences and in the courts, as well as in federal agencies and in laboratories.

Per Deborah Runkle from AAAS:

The seminar will be live webcast and then archived. Although it?s not up yet, keep checking at https://www.aaas.org/forensic-conference/2019 for further information.
