2005 Eastern Regional Training Conference
« on: October 16, 2005, 03:40:30 PM »
The phone lines have been burning on the east coast asking the question

WILL THERE BE A 2005 EASTERN REGIONAL TRAINING CONFERENCE?

Let’s keep the tradition going. Will someone answer the call?

From a historical perspective:
In November of 2003 the ATF/NFEA people did a great job hosing this event.
In November of 2004 the NJSP did a great job hosting this event.
In November of 2005 ……………..Will do a great job hosting this event.

Jerry,
I think we lost it this year and most likely I would attribute it to the fact that many of us are involved in the 2006 Training Seminar.  At least you guys in CT hosted the New England Regional and did a great job!  A suggestion is to find an Eastern Regional host at the Annual AFTE Training Seminar.  In 2004 Ann Davis approached me about it in Vancouver and it worked out to be enough time to get the show on the road.  Just something to think about in Springfield.  Spoke with Rod Deardon on Wed. 11-23-05 and sent another e-mail/request letter.  He verbally agreed to a one day revolver armorers course on their GP series revolvers. I'll keep you posted.

Bill
We should try to finalize ruger before the host committee meeting in springfield on Dec 3rd. We need to know the max number of people and the day the instructor would like to do it. Because it's a full day course the only available days are Sun, Wed , Fri.

Let me know so we can add it to the registration form for the seminar.
