Firearm/Tool Mark Examiner Position opening in Tacoma, WA (unofficial)

We will soon be losing one examiner in our laboratory in Tacoma.  We are currently trying to determine if anyone is interested in the position that will be available in the upcoming months.  Of course we'd like to get someone who is a court qualified firearm/toolmark examiner, however it is dependent on if anyone is interested!  Here are the qualfiications.

Salaries are as follows.

Forensic Scientist 1 - $2730 - 3484 monthly ($32,760 - 41,808 annually)
Forensic Scientist 2 - $3157 - 4041 monthly ($37,884 - 48,492 annually)
Forensic Scientist 3 - $4041 - 5175 monthly ($48,492 - 62,100 annually)


Right now it is unofficial and we are just trying to gauge interest.  We are hoping to hire at the Forensic Scientist 3 level, which is dependent on experience.  If you have any questions or would be interested in applying for the position when it comes open, please let me know.  Thank you!
