This is an on-line course to prepare forensic firearm and toolmark examiners in effective preparation for evidentiary hearings such as Daubert hearings. This completely web-based, self-paced course highlights the challenges in presenting an effective testimony in evidentiary hearings and discusses a different strategy that should enable examiners to better articulate the scientific foundations of the forensic firearm and toolmark discipline.
