Why don't we continue to do this sort of thing in order to expand the database.  Maybe we can do the same thing next year.  Or maybe the winner of the current contest can put something up as the prize and we can just continue like that.

The "S" on the headstamp indicates a cartridge with a "small flash hole".  The "S" will remain as part of the headstamp.  The "A" which is sometimes seen on the primer will be discontinued as it was part of an internal tracking system.

This is Silver Bear 7.62x39mm with a zinc plated steel case manufactured by JSC Barnaul Machine-Tool Plant.  The box is marked 7.62x39 123 Grain Bimetal HP Zinc Plated Case A762HPN www.bearammo.com.  It has a green lacquered steel case.   

FTI is in my office updating IBIS, so I can't get casework done.  I thought this would be a good way to use my time during the IBIS upgrade.
