These positions are located within the Office of Science and Technology, Laboratory Services, in Beltsville, Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C.

The Firearms and Toolmark Examiner serves as an analyst in the examination of firearm and toolmark evidence from criminal investigations of firearm violations, bombings, and arsons.
