Hello,

I help organize Teams meetings for the Western Region Crime Gun Intelligence Working Group. The group was established in partnership with the ATF and Northern California Regional Intelligence Center and is comprised of two subgroups: 1) Enforcement and Intelligence and 2) Forensics. I'm looking for volunteers interested in presenting to the forensic group on various topics. Here are a few examples (but we are open to any topic you are passionate about!):
Challenges with processing firearms evidence and creative solutions Implementing NIST OSAC standards Managing the proliferation of privately made firearms NIBIN – technology, data management, working with law enforcement/prosecution, etc.   The length of the presentation can be between 20-45 minutes. The audience is typically laboratory personnel, property/evidence personnel, and crime analysts who work on NIBIN leads.

If you are interested in presenting, please contact me at hsarge@ncric.ca.gov.

Thank you for your time.
