Looking for Work
« on: November 03, 2023, 02:27:12 PM »
Hey guys,

I am coming to the firearms community to ask for assistance if at all possible in helping me find work. I have attached my resume and can provide my CV if requested but I spent approximately 7 years working at the lab in DC 5 years as a Firearms Technician and then almost 2 years trying to complete my Firearm Examiner Training (which I was just short of completing). I have gone to the lengths of even borrowing my own comparison microscope in hopes of finishing my training, but could never find anyone to help me accomplish that goal. At this point, I am willing to do anything in the field that is available. Due to my husband working for Washington Gas Co which is local to the DMV, I am not able to relocate however I am willing to work in VA, DC, MD. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Julia Washington

Our field can be such a bummer when you are restricted to a small location.

I'd highly recommend Ron Nichols training program if you are able to swing that and still have access to the comparison microscope.
