We have just opened a Firearm Examiner Trainee position for our lab in San Antonio, TX! Please share around with those interested in starting their career (interns/ volunteers/ recent graduates).

This position closes on 2/4/2024. Must be authorized to work in the US.

This position requires:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological Science, Engineering, or Forensic Science.

Must have three (3) semester credit hours (or equivalent) in college-level statistics course or a program approved by the Texas Forensic Science Commission or be able to obtain the required credit hours within one (1) year of hire. (Note: Sixteen (16) semester credit hours (or equivalent) in college level chemistry coursework above general coursework from an accredited university is NOT required for the Firearms discipline).
