So Cal Fires - Please read
« on: January 13, 2025, 11:36:03 AM »
Good morning AFTE Family,

Our hearts go out to all the families who have been affected by the ongoing fires in Southern California. Currently, no firearms labs have been affected by the devastation, and we have not heard of any of AFTE members who have been affected. If you have, please reach out.

We want to thank all the first responders and firefighters within the state and neighboring states who have come to help.

The state is not out of the woods yet as another series of Santa Ana winds are expected this week, making the risk of new fires high and battling the current fires even more difficult.

Some of you may be wondering about the conference. Anaheim, which is located about 45 miles south of the fires, and our conference remain safe. Our AFTE Anaheim Team remains safe. Nothing for the conference has been affected, but if something changes, we will let the membership now. You can follow us on Instagram (@afteoc25) or on our Facebook page (AFTE 2025 Anaheim) for the most up to date information on the fires. We are also sharing ways you can help those affected by the fires.

If you have questions, please feel free to email us at afte2025@afte.org.

Thank you.
