Hello AFTE-land

Does anyone know the manufacturer name and model of this revolver?

Thanks, Dustin.  I had seen the message you sent, but hadn't gone deeper to the NRA thing.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I think it may be included (page 14) in this old ATF document (NEWS MEDIA GUIDE TO FIREARMS) ...

Many years ago, wasn't there an AFTE article/presentation of the history of these firearms?

The information I have is that PIC stands for Precise Imports Corporation, and that the revolver was made by "Ronchi" in Italy.  The logo in front of the serial # on the butt is supposed to be the Ronchi logo (RTS).  And when I look up Ronchi, I get: RTS is a logo owned by Stefano Ronchi of Treviglio Italy.  Ronchi produced a variety of blank-firing revolvers under the RTS trademark, eventually being bought out by "Gun Toys" and eventually owned by Umarex.  The example seems to be only 3" barrel.

I hope that gives you a jumping off point.

Credit to the RCMP "Firearms Reference Table" people.

Many thanks, Shane! I know that Google seems to be a bit touchy when it comes to what and how the search info is entered.  Yours when WAY farther than mine and I tried several different combinations.
